As the saying goes, guitars want a David Gilmour for Christmas.

Pink Floyd is probably my favorite band, but the reality is that Waters' lyrics would be criticized in a less popular group and his bass playing is primitive. Mason is Mason. I'm a Rick Wright fan, but his playing is so odd that it doesn't stand on its own.

All that being said, I don't think anything will ever replace "Comfortably Numb" in my heart because the guitar work is transcendent. Get me some of that and we'll see...
