As to free speech, the right has always been the greater threat for the half-century I've been paying attention. They tried to shut up the protesters of the 60's and 70's. They've always tried to ban music for sex and profanity. Just the other day we discovered they're trying to "cancel" Maus.

Joe Rogan and others of his ilk aren't freedom fighters, they're fucking anti-intellectual, scientifically illiterate liars and morons...or at least, trying to prey on those who are.

We all have to choose who to believe. In this case, I'll go with authority not because they're authorities, but because my science background tells me they're the ones who are most likely right. The rest seem to be religious fanatics, people who like orange presidents, and grifters who make their money farming those people for fun and profit.
