Been to England, Scotland and Wales, never made it out to Eire. Really should some day.

People here refer to the period from mid autumn to mid spring as "the long gray." We get less rain than some other places in inches (or centibleeps or whatever all y'all use), but it is persistent. Beautiful summers, though - clear skies, moderate temps. Though it's starting to be "smoke season" now that Canada is on fire all the time.
