Don't lecture a mathematician on logical proofs ;)

The beginning of a proof of this sort is to gather some data and use that to inform the search for more.

Russian apologists occur through wide swaths the Republican Party and the conservative movement. The same is not true of the Democrats and the "left" (such as it is).

Get me some examples of "liberal" apologists. And not Chomsky, who is a grouchy old man who says lots of interesting/unusual things. Find some people in positions of political power who are influencing the debate. What you'll find is the Democrats and liberals are prtty much united behind Ukraine and against Russia.

If you can find counterexamples, please do, I'm always looking to learn something new. However, please note that proportion and context are critical. At some point the quantitative is qualitative.
