1. I'm not finding a lot of examples. Mostly I'm seeing the high rate of rape OF trans people

3. The right has turned a blind eye to it for as long as I can remember. Trying to get conservatives to acknowledge rape as a problem has long been a goal of women's groups because they're the primary impediment to cracking down on rapists.

1. Actually, he appears to have engaged in sexual misconduct and as far as I know only tepidly denied what happened. It was basically a guy acting like an asshole on a date, something women far and wide will say happens all the time.
2. It is generally accepted he may have been mistreated. But as his Wikipedia entry puts it, "Ansari briefly receded from the public eye following the incident and resumed performing stand-up comedy in May 2018." That doesn't sound ruined. He got "metoo"ed.
