Generally good logic, but maybe ignoring the fact that marriage is so heavily weighted to one side. Asking men to step up isn’t unreasonable. Asking women to surrender their gains for the good of society might be good for society, but sucks for them.

Men gotta be better, that’s what it is. Mind you, if men do get better, women will have to as well. They aren’t blameless. And I think that’s not something you hear enough about.
