He talks sense on some things, but for instance much of this ranting against leftists is stupid and lazy, and unbecoming an educated man.

I also have certain hard lines. Once somebody crosses one — for example racism, sexism, homophobia, Christian nationalism — then I’m out. People in more powerful groups punching down is poor form, and he’s a misogynist. So I’m out. I don’t need to know the rest.

I’m not a fan of combativeness for the sake of combativeness. Taking on your opponents when you’re wrong makes it worse.
