You claimed Democratic areas have higher inequality. I point out that that it's incredibly marginal, has some confounding factors, and that poverty generally is higher in Republican areas.

Wealth of poor Americans in global terms isn't relevant. (Though poverty is worse in the US than in almost all of our peer nations.)
