I agree. I find intentionally holding on to something nonsensical to be personally offensive. I try not to do it.

I don't think you can force people not to hold an opinion. But if it's harming others there's no reason to put up with them spraying it around. It's the whole "freedom of speech does not imply freedom from consequences" thing.
