I did not say that I am a more intelligent moral person.

You did however take it upon yourself to define what a good society is and who should participate.

I don’t have any power to maintain.

America has always been run by straight white Christians. Whoever is that has power. The further you are from that, the less power you have.

Nor do I have the desire to stop people from creating their own societies.

The point is that Christians in particular refuse to let others be. If Portland tried to set up a Communist or officially secular city, they'd be crushed by the weight of the right. Don't use segregation as a solution when it won't be allowed by the powers that be.

Why would I do that?

Because you think you know what constitutes a good and moral society.

And what’s the alternative? Integrate them back into society that they don’t want to be a part of and create more social hostility? Ridiculous.

That's how all societies work. This has always been a nation of immigrants and constant change. It isn't just going to stop.

Discrimination is a necessary part of living in a functioning society.

Wait, you want the law to apply differently to different people?

My point is not to turn the US into an apartheid state. Segregation was an overall net negative on society. What I am proposing is consensual separation of communities if they so choose and are subject to the rules they propose for themselves.

See above. Wouldn't be allowed if tried.

We don’t have that in America as our system doesn’t allow for it and we are forced to diversify.

So, overturn the principles of the nation to save it?

“In that case, when you finally lose the demographic wars I hope you end up as crushed and broken as the way you want others to live.” What are you referring to? What demographic do you think I belong to? If you mean white, careful, that’s a conspiracy theory don’t you know?

As a straight white non-Christian I am liable to get caught in the backlash. That would be regrettable, but a backlash is coming.

Like I said, representative democracy isn’t working and the more democratic society is becoming the more social cohesion is breaking down.

So, throw out the Constitution to save it?

Satire requires a connection to reality. I feel you stretching it, but it's getting close to the edge.
