I do think that guns need to be controlled better, it works in the rest of the "civilized" world, though in the end the fault is the American character. We are a violent, hateful people.

On the upside, the number of guns is exploding but gun ownership has been declining. I thought this meant we might be improving, but as long as the fascist right exists the hate will continue.
