I enjoyed these, it made me feel more comfortable with the whole process. I didn't know what to think about stories earning 2¢, 14¢, etc. I wondered what it meant.

Read your piece and thought a bit, and it turns out it means I have 12 followers and most of the stories weren't distributed or picked up by a publication.

I too am shooting for $5 for the first month . The December check was 45¢, now I'm only 50¢ away with two days to go, but just had a piece accepted by a publication so am hopeful.
