I focused on it because it was all I disagreed with. Maybe "with you on this, though I didn't choose war blithely."

And I don't think it's entirely inapt. We know running over a protester isn't a dealbreaker, nor is beating a cop with a flagpole. Shooting violent rioters makes you a star, as does threatening peaceful ones. Blood in the street isn't a bridge too far.

I'm worried where the line is.
