I have an inner ear problem and $#!+ balance generally, plus we live in the Pacific Northwest and the roof is wet and slippery most of the year. But even so, dude, get down off the damn roof! Nothing is happening up there that's worth falling for. Your wife will be feeding you through a straw for months…or maybe not, her patience is presumably declining with age as well. Too risky.
