I would love to be a Libertarian, but a less functional philosophy of governance there may not be. "Liberty" turns out to be a mind-bendingly complicated concept they can't effectively define.

Politics is like sex: fun for the participants, but if you put it in the lab and analyze it, it turns out to be messy and ridiculous.
