If I might comment:

The problem of racism is 100% the fault of White people. Black people don't need to hear "there are problems on both sides" or "see things our way" or acknowledge "it's not ALL White people." It is 100% our responsibility to resolve.

The problem of misogyny is 100% the fault of men. Women don't need to "there are problems on both sides" or "see things our way" or acknowledge "it's not ALL men." It is 100% our responsibility to resolve.

The problem of Christian hate, hypocrisy and the destruction of our politics is 100% the fault of Christians. Non-Christians don't need to "there are problems on both sides" or "see things our way" or acknowledge "it's not ALL Christians." It is 100% YOUR responsibility to resolve.

There is no "both sides" or moral equivalence. Look at the Trumpists and the Republican Party generally: Christianity - in particular White Evangelicalism - is far and away the most serious threat to the survival of America as a diverse democracy.

I'm glad to hear that there are folks out there doing religion right...but it's not enough, not by a mile.

Politically, it's been immoral to vote Republican for years. Now it's time to swallow hard and vote a straight Democratic ticket until the GOP is either no more or cuts its ties with Evangelicals. Which I hate having to say, but there it is.
