I'll be honest, it's hard to predict what they'll do other than it'll be bad. Since ideology controls reality, they can turn on a dime. Like I knew there was a fascist coming, but that it was Mango Mussolini was a surprise. Anti-Russia was gospel on the right my whole life...then suddenly it was the opposite.

But as for poor people, I don't expect them to take any more interest in the new ones an abortion ban creates. The commitment to pro-life ends at birth. Would heartbreaking photos from Dickensian orphanages make a difference? I doubt it. I'm not sure their hearts are breakable.

It scares me how poorly I think of these folks. But I gotta go where the facts lead...
