I'm going to be charitable and assume you're just succumbing to the internet's "assume the worst and jump in screaming" ethos.

Human society is more complex, even though we're less evolved than we like to think. The kinds of relationships and alliances are very different.

If two people form a relationship, both parties have to agree that the disadvantages of bringing the other into their life is a net positive or not.

Some men are upset that women are demanding higher standards. By "good enough," I mean — and hopefully a rereading will make it clear — that as men, we've relied on size, strength, and a tradition that holds us as superior. In the 21st century, the first two have become drastically less relevant, and the third is under threat.

Part of evolution is that when females change the qualities they're looking for, males must adapt. What can we bring to their lives once they don't need us?
