I'm not asking you to trust me.

The Dems don't support abortion on demand. Look it up. There was a compromise in Roe v. Wade, and the Dems supported it. The GOP killed it off and wants a ban or at least a functional ban.

Tr*mp ranted and raved at the debate. What caricatures did Harris bring up?

Polls of Tr*mp voters show that economics does not correlate: "It’s not a threat to their (White, Christian and male voters) own economic well-being; it’s a threat to their group’s dominance in our country over all.”

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/24/us/politics/trump-economic-anxiety.html

Bias against LGBT people is a primary driver of the GOP:(https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/06/24/gops-sudden-turn-away-gay-rights-acceptance/)

As is bias against non-Christians:

https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2022/09/21/most-republicans-support-declaring-the-united-states-a-christian-nation-00057736

The Democrats always compromise - they have to, because the GOP is ~80% white and ~80% Christian.

so the Dems have to represent everybody else, meaning they have to compromise quite a bit even within their own party. And yes, their leadership is moderate and in line with public opinion. Pick an issue and look it up.

You can claim my opinions aren't facts, but at least they're supported by them. Yours are provably incorrect - if you will take the time to look them up. I know that people don't like to change their minds, but at least try.
