I'm not trying to ban guns and never said I wanted to. My point was that guns are necessary, and that's the problem. The day you don't feel like you need a gun for self defense is the day we can call ourselves a civilized species. But it is true that no other developed nation has gun ownership rates or a violence problem anywhere close to ours. The Trump Era makes me think that we just have too many bad people living here.
