Indeed. I guess the difference is that all women could have more power, including the relatively powerful ones. What's the moral responsibility here? Is it OK to say "OK, Black women, gender minorities, religious minorities, etc. I'm going to do my part in holding you down so I can preserve the position my support of the patriarchy provides me."

I would say it matters to me, too. As a non-Christian, I would love to break up the religious hegemony. I don't want to hurt people of faith, but I'm tired of their boots on my neck. Shaking up the system toward more equality might help me out, too. That being said, I know there are plenty of women who think crushing me is the right thing to do, so no guarantee.
