The problem is people see things through their own frame - conservatives are very organized and have no problem ignoring the death of opponents (see AIDS, the early days of COVID when it was killing city dwellers, etc.) So they figure the left must be the same way. I try to tell them organizing liberals is like herding cats, but they never believe me.
