Is there a single Republican in Congress who would vote on the gay community's side on any issue? Seems to me "gay = wrong and bad" is gospel on the political right.
I remember three GOP presidential hopefuls in 2016 sharing a stage with Kevin "all homosexuals deserve the death penalty" Swanson.
I notice the Maryland is repealing various anti-gay laws, but even with large popular support the Republican governor is refusing to sign them - he knows his career in GOP politics is dead meat if he shows any sign of support for LGBTQ causes.
As far as I can tell, liberals not only do this alone, but over the dead bodies of unified Republican opposition. Is there something I'm missing?
