It's weird - for hundreds of years in this country, Christians have had a laser focus on demonizing and ridiculing others, treating them as subhuman creatures without feelings.

But sure, now we need civility and rationality. Why not?

Meanwhile, all over the country Christians are trying to roll back social progress and go back to the old days when they could kick the shit out of whoever they wanted and nobody got to criticize them.

So now people who have been getting kicked in the teeth for centuries are getting up off the mat and protesting and suddenly it's OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS! PEOPLE ARE SO MEAN TO CHRISTIANS!
