Men have run the world forever and naturally the thought of losing that has them very pissed off. Sympathy should at all times be tempered.

My only comment in favor of my gender is this: men hold the cards now, but I think girls are actually now on a better trajectory than boys.

Are men to blame for their own problems? Yes. Are they to blame for many of women's problems as well? Yep.

I understand any feminist who wants to castrate the patriarchy and ship it off to a desert island. I'd probably feel the same way in their place. But short of that we can't just write off boys and men until somebody figures out a way to stop giving birth to them.
