What does that entail?

1. What is the "woke credo"? As far as I can tell it's been stripped of all meaning beyond "anything conservative dislike."

2. Professors, school teachers, and others have lost their jobs for being seen as too liberal.

It's weird how the right has gone crazy over identity politics when they've always practiced it the most. The difference is the left is a hodgepodge of people while the right is almost entirely straight white Christians. I've been kicking around this country for the last half-century and being gay, non-white, and/or non-Christian have been a potential death sentence on your career, position in society, or even your freedom. But now the left is doing it and it's THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!

A quote from Mounk: "you're required to make your ethnicity the primary thing about you in a kind of self-affirming way." For conservatives, Republicans, and a wide swath of American society, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and religion are not just "the primary thing about you" but essentially their entire identity - but they don't realize it, because straight white and Christian are the assumed norms.
