Not to be too pedantic, but nothing that starts "Women can be just as awful as anyone else, but in general…" can be regarded as entirely one-sided. My reason for making the statement was to point out that it isn't always the man's fault and some women are raging assholes.

You may be making a logical error in asserting that "in general" means "in all cases."
