Thanks. I wish I could get people to realize that power brings responsibility because every word lands with greater force. If a gay person razzes me it might be funny or it might be annoying. But either way, it's punching up - me, my life, and my relationship are safe, even if every LGBTQ+ person in America came out in favor of banning straight marriage.

The opposite is not true. Punching down is not only the sign of an asshat, but potentially dangerous.
