The problem with absolutists is that really, in the end, we'd all prefer to have what's best for us personally. So when capitalism, religion, whatever is working for them, they're all about it.

I think part of maturity is accepting the results when they don't go your way. These guys don't seem to have grasped that, maybe because straight white Christian men are so used to winning they can't fathom losing.
