The question is why men are going out of their way to be less attractive?

Women have been telling us what they want and men haven't listened. For example, the gender gap between the political parties has been increasing for decades. Young women have loudly told us that The Former Guy is toxic, any man who supports him is dealing his dating life a death blow. Vote for whoever you want, but accept the consequences.

If women are no longer forced to settle for a man they don't want, why in the world would they?

I think most most partnerless men are alone voluntarily.
