The whole business is indescribably absurd. The idea that that any part of the book is true in any reasonable way simply boggles the mind. And these Christian nationalist types are ruining the country.

On the other hand, I don’t really give a damn as long as you’re a decent person. If believing in Jesus helps you do that then I’m 100% behind it. Everybody believes in some crazy stuff now and then. As long as it doesn’t hurt anybody else, it’s cool.

If someone is going be one of these Evangelicals, though, and ignore the good parts of the faith, then we have a serious problem. It’s kind of time for those people to go away.
