There are some good ideas here, but you still struggle with your obsession with left-wing censorship.

The all-time and still current leaders in censorship are conservatives, especially religious conservatives, and it's by orders of magnitude. Most people just don't realize it in the same way a fish doesn't understand water.

An analogy I like is libraries. If you ask any librarian, you'll discover that it has always been and still is conservatives who are most likely to try to ban books. But more importantly, religious conservatives are the ones who have traditionally decided which books were allowed to be on the shelves in the first place.

If that doesn't work, consider "decency standards" for TV, movies, and music. Who put those there? If that is censorship, it by itself far and away exceeds what “woke” has ever done.

I think what people like yourself don't appreciate is new voices trying to gain the privileges old voices already have: put their message out and proclaimed their dislike for what they deem offensive. The old guard reacts in horror because they don't realize this is just a taste of their own medicine.

Ponder all that and see if it doesn't open up new vistas.
