Thinking about the governor of Mississippi saying that Christians believe that life is just a “blip.” It’s a logical outgrowth of the faith, but very sad. Whether there is a heaven or not, at least take life seriously and don’t use your religion as an excuse to avoid hard decisions in the present. Or to treat others like shit because you have no respect for their belief in life. That’s worse.
