You’re right, I’m sure some found that phrasing uncomfortable. But it’s part of the conditions we agreed to — we’re exclusive to each other and trying to make each other happy is part of the deal. I think the key is agreeing to such things in advance to avoid problems later. Kind of like whether to have kids — don’t just get married and hope it’ll work itself out.
