What I believe doesn't matter, only reality. Did you follow the links?

For example: you complained about Harris caricaturing Tr*mp, so I pulled up a transcript of the debate and read everything that Harris said. Because maybe you were right and I should check.

However, I was surprised at how focused she was. Just about everything she said was factual, which agrees with the fact checkers data afterward.

The best I could come up with was:

"world leaders are laughing at Donald Trump. I have talked with military leaders, some of whom worked with you. And they say you're a disgrace."

The first sentence is not provable. The second sentence is correct, there is wide concern even among Tr*mp's own military and national security people that he's too erratic to be Commander-In-Chief.

There was also:

"the American people have a right to rely on a president who understands the significance of America's role and responsibility in terms of ensuring that there is stability and ensuring we stand up for our principles and not sell them for the benefit of personal flattery."

But that's not a caricature - flattery-seeking has been Tr*mp's reputation for decades. It was widely thought that he did it as president as well, and his positive public statements about world leaders who praised him seem to back that up.

Then there was the rallies one:

"And I'm going to actually do something really unusual and I'm going to invite you to attend one of Donald Trump's rallies because it's a really interesting thing to watch. You will see during the course of his rallies he talks about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. He will talk about windmills cause cancer."

It's not a caricature if it's 100% accurate. And it is so far.

"And what you will also notice is that people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom."

OK. Yes, it's true they leave, but she is guessing as to why. Reasonable guesses, though.

What caricatures did I miss?

Meanwhile, The Former Guy was on fire:

“Now (Harris) wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison.”

WTAF?

"She wants to confiscate your guns...If she won the election, fracking in Pennsylvania will end on day one."

Nope and nope.

"They went into Seattle, they took over a big percentage of the city of Seattle."

I live here. It was a few square blocks, not even a big percentage of the neighborhood, much less the whole city.

I'm surprised she held it together. Even reading I had trouble following what he was saying. It was like right-wing MadLibs, basically pouring all his rally lines in a pot and scooping them out randomly. I'm impressed at her self-control, I'd have been flummoxed.

But somehow you want to compare them? Dude, be real.

Hate is the wrong word, but it's true I find conservatives and their philosophy truly appalling. I very much wish for any one of them to have a coherent discussion, but they never want to engage in factual conversation. It's weird.
