Whenever I read the comment sections of stories like this, I inevitably find indignant men who are furious at being judged on superficial qualities like appearance.

Guys, women are not only judged according to their appearance, that’s often the only thing they’re judged on. Are you worried about being too short? Ask a woman who is “too short” or “too tall.” Are you too fat or too thin? Ask a woman who is too fat or too thin. Are you being judged on your lack of musculature? They’re judged on their cup size. The cosmetics industry doesn’t exist just because.
