Why do some people seem to have a problem with "free speech"? He's entitled to his opinion, but not the consequences. Say stupid $#!+ in public, be prepared to face the resulting slings and arrows publicly.

The main problem is that he and his co-religionists want to take over the country and run it according to their narrow definition of what is right. If they would just keep their reactionary views to themselves it would be fine - my philosophy is do your own thing until you start doing it to someone else.
