You bump into a serious bridge-building problem when so many Americans believe trans either doesn't exist or is an offense against God. And those people have completely captured one political party. The entirety of the LBGTQ+ community has only one political choice - side with the left and try to sort it out if and when acceptance is achieved. Any - ANY - bridge building with the right is doomed to failure and weakens the political position of all racial and gender minorities, and feminism.
